“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.”
John 11:25-28 KJV
There’s no greater assurance a believer needs in this world that’s above the word of God.
What you truly believe in determines the way you live your life.
Every day is another opportunity for a supernatural testimony in your life and to harness this you must truly believe and be biased about God’s word. Whatever He says to you must be the final say.
Many claim to believe God’s word but live their lives like He isn’t real. Believing in Jesus Christ means:
1. To accept His words as absolute truth.
“And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35 KJV
2. To fully trust in him.
“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise”
Ephesians 1:11-13 KJV
3. To receive Him as the son of God.
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name…”
John 1:12 KJV
Lazarus was resurrected by “the resurrection and the life” and this brought many Jews to God in such a way that even the chief priests sought to kill him again.
“Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.”
John 12:9-11 KJV
If you want to see others come to Christ through your testimony then give God your whole heart.
With your whole heart you should:
– Convert to God. (Joel 2:12)
– Seek the Lord. (Jeremiah 29:13)
– Trust in the Lord. (Proverbs 3:5)
– Love the Lord. (Mathew 22:37)
– Obey the Lord. (Deuteronomy 26:16)
– Follow the Lord. (1 Kings 2:4, Genesis 5:22)
– Rejoice in the Lord. ( Zephaniah 3:14)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:13-17 KJV
You have heard the word of life, truly fully believe that you might be saved.
May you be made whole in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray!
Dear God, I beseech you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. I surrender my whole heart unto you and acknowledge that I believe your word above my doctor’s report, above my lawyer’s report, above my nation’s government’s report, above my economist’s report. Do unto me all that the Word of God has promised because I believe. Amen!
