It’s a new season, it’s a new day
A fresh anointing is flowing my way
It’s a season of favour and open gates
It’s a new season coming to me
“So it came to pass, when the king’s commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the king’s house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women. And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women. In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, the king’s chamberlain, which kept the concubines: she came in unto the king no more, except the king delighted in her, and that she were called by name. Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.”
Esther 2:8-9, 14-17 KJV
We all need favour to prosper on earth.
Favour is a liking for someone that cannot be hidden. It simply means approval.
It can grow and it can diminish. It can be gotten from men or from God. However God is the one who gives it all.
When a child is born, there’s a measure of this favour upon that child. As he grows it ought to be growing with him or her but it’s not always the case. It can be gotten and it can be lost.
When we become born again we receive favour from God for exploits and when we please the Lord in obedience we grow in favor on both sides.
Esther obtained favour from Hegai and her favour with man grew, it grew so much so that she was accepted by the king too.
For every new level or dimension in life, you need favour. Jesus too grew in favour. See…👇
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.”
Luke 2:52 KJV
The reason you’re not moving forward in life is not because you are not qualified, it is because you lack a measure of favour yo press through.
Even to get married and fulfill God’s dominion command, you need a measure of favour.
“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord .”
Proverbs 18:22 KJV
We all need favour from the Lord!
Ask for favour this morning!
May you grow in favour!
Go and prosper!
