LOOK AND LIVE!

SING :

I’ve a message from the Lord, hallelujah!
This message unto you I’ll give,
’Tis recorded in His word, hallelujah!
It is only that you “look and live.”

“Look and live,” my brother, live,
Look to Jesus now, and live;
’Tis recorded in His word, hallelujah!
It is only that you “look and live.”

I’ve a message full of love, hallelujah!
A message, O my friend, for you,
’Tis a message from above, hallelujah!
Jesus said it, and I know ’tis true.

Life is offered unto you, hallelujah!
Eternal life thy soul shall have,
If you’ll only look to Him, hallelujah!
Look to Jesus who alone can save.

I will tell you how I came, hallelujah!
To Jesus when He made me whole—
’Twas believing on His name, hallelujah!
I trusted and He saved my soul.

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”
Isaiah 45:22‭-‬23 KJV

When things get harder and look more impossible, where your gaze is fixed will determine whether or not you’ll obtain victory.
It’s not much about what you’re saying but more about where you put your trust – that’s where you’re looking. Your eyes is one of the most important gates to your soul, so where you look to determines your salvation.
God has decreed it that when we look to Him we’ll find salvation for our souls from all our burdens.
He gave us a shadow of this in Numbers 21:8 when Moses was instructed by Him to make a bronzen serpent and hang it on a tree for the salvation of all who were bitten by serpents in the wilderness. The only requirement was to look and live.
Yes it couldn’t have been easy, but that’s faith. It’s spiritual and not of the flesh. In reality Christ hung on a tree that we might be saved by also looking unto Him and what He has done. Regardless of your situation today what still works just as God has decreed is for you to look to Him and live.

Circumstances around you may be getting tougher but it will change because it is not the truth about you.
The circumstances that surround you is the fact. What is written about you in God’s word is the truth. Truth can’t change but facts always change.

Jesus was the son of a carpenter, born in a manger but those were facts. The truth is that He is the son of God, the Christ. So when several voices were speaking negatively, while He was in the temple He declared the truth regarding Himself that He had found by looking. See…👇

“And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”
Luke 4:17‭-‬21 KJV

Many would have said to Him but we know your background you’re broke, I can imagine Him say to them in response: “The spirit of the Lord is upon me ”

I don’t know what the facts surrounding your life may be right now, but I urge you to look and live.
Look in the written word!
Great and precious things that must surely come to pass are written about you!
Look to God!
Great and precious things that will surely take place will be released to you!
Trust in God! Not your connections!
Trust in God! Not your money!
Trust in God! Not your strategy!

When you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him and find help for your soul.

Remember that man is as a vapour fading away, so you don’t have forever to decide whether or not to look and live.
Your days have been written. Look unto Him now, today, and live. You’ll find that He has been waiting for you even before you were born.

As you look unto Him today, may you find rest for your soul and succour for your condition. Amen!
