In the Period of Waiting!

● Keep your hands and heart off sin (Psalm 24:4)
● Keep the word of God close to your heart and lips (Joshua 1:8).
● Keep the right atmosphere around you- pray in tongues, listen to spiritual songs and messages, read spiritual books and articles (especially those addressing your situation)
● Be in the right company, do not stay around those who would pollute your spirit and kill your faith, but when you can’t avoid them, take up your shield of faith (Ephesians 6:16)
● Pray always (I Thessalonians 5:17, Isaiah 40:31).
● Rejoice than ever before, do not let this be a function of what is happening around you, let joy well up from the inside of you. Let the joy of the lord be your strength. ( Proverbs 17:22, Romans 12:12).
● Give thanks. Giving thanks at difficult moments is a spiritual exercise you must continually engage in. It will lift your spirit and build your faith. Giving thanks will keep you in the position of a victor. Claim your victory till you see it.
● Speak positivity. Keep the vocabularies of faith close to your mouth. Declare and confess you faith in God and your victory. When the evil brings thoughts of fear into your mind, respond with words of faith.
● Trust God Completely. Put your trust in the lord, don’t let your faith waver. Rest in His promises. (James 1:5-8).
● Do not be afraid. The devil will want you to be dismayed, terrorized and intimidated but be strong in the lord and in the power of His might. (2 Timothy 1:7, I Peter 5:7, Isaiah 41:10.
● Write. God is faithful, He speaks to and comforts His children when they go through difficult times. Do well to journal them down. You might not be able to remember it all but going back to what you wrote down will be a source of strength to you and others
